(More customer reviews)This is a great product. It was easy to replace and was instrumental in my 1986 Jeep CJ-7 passing emissions. With this new valve and a new vacuum storage canister my nox reading went from 3600 to just over 500. (Passing was around 2600)The box contained a high quality gasket. This unit fits a wide variety of applications. A number of different sized orifices are contained in the box as well as instructions for how to install them. You just look up the casting code on your original egr valve and use the size orifice it recommends. I chose this valve over original equipment types costing up to six times as much.

Delphi EG10175 EGR Valve Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo LS and I have cleaned the EGR valve twice and it's probably on it's last leg. This is easy to replace since I've cleaned the original part twice. The hard part was getting it diagnosed and "Thank You" to my local Autozone. But they didn't have the part available but the sales associate gave me good advice in cleaning it. I did not check where it was cheaper but I was surprised that Amazon.com carried it. I'm giving it five stars since I hear parts for the Isuzu line of vehicles are starting to become scarce and we can find it on Amazon.com. NOTE: Don't buy the gasket as recommended. It comes with the gasket.

Code has not returned, although I had already gone through the thorough cleaning (save the reaming) in the Odyssey tech note. Actually had about six months before the code returned before, so I'm still not sure this is the be all and end all, but as I said, so far , so good..

OES Genuine Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve for select Nissan Altima models Review

(More customer reviews)No surprises, just an OEM replacement for my EGR valve.
Order the gasket separately, as the unit doesn't come with one, and the one you've got is probably shot. A tight vacuum seal is absolutely critical in order for this to work. If you can find some vacuum hose (I'm not sure about the size), it would be a good idea to buy that as well, in case you need to replace them.

I checked the codes for free at N.A.P.A. The three codes indicated an emissions
problem. I replaced the EGR valve and reset the codes. The light is out and has stayed out.
Don't by an off brand on this product.
