(More customer reviews)being that i drive a rare automatic wrx hatchback i didn't think much of sound nor performance coming out of the n1. and since the n1 has resonator vs. the naked n1 racer (which is the same thing but with out the resonator) i didn't expect much either. while performance gains seem to be minimal (maybe a 5hp gain if that or more), the sound of this exhaust on my wrx is like a "growl" that you hear from a hemi v8 with a flowmaster. its tone is low yet it roars. it's not a ricey fartcan that you hear from a honda but a grumbling lion. in the cabin the sound of the boxer and its uneven headers and their rumbling noise even at idle and lower speeds, the exhaust seems show its force. i had to throw on a silencer when i had to carpool with my parents and some family members to a dinner party. yes folks it is that loud but not in a bad way. this muffler gets so low and rumbles so hard it can not be heart but felt from 2 quarters of a mile away. this exhaust is by far a quiet one, but it is not as overly obnoxious. it's tone is deep and clean and it rumbles hard.
