(More customer reviews)I went with this muffler because it was dircect fit for my 7.4L big block. The sound is amazing!!! I didnt want anything to loud but i wanted to hear my truck thru the exhaust. On take off I get a nice low mean growl but running on interstate I cant tell any difference from the stock muffler in terms of sound. No annoying drone. The biggest benefit from this muffler was that I gained a little over 1 mpg. Probably even more, since i been getting into the pedal a little bit more because I love the sound. Only one draw back, I wish it was stainless steel. I couldn't find this muffler on flowmaster's website in stainless steel.

(More customer reviews)Good sound, but the clamps that are included with the kit will not get tight enough around the pipes to hold them together. It almost looks like a chain link fence clamp. So do yourself a favor and before you start this project go and get two 1.5 inch clamps from the auto parts store. Also you will make installing easier by removing the rear hanger from the frame. Other than that it was pretty easy, and they sound good, but if you are looking for really loud then go with another brand.

(More customer reviews)Amazon has by far the best deal on these Flowmaster mufflers. I loive the mufflers. They sound great, added pep and the mileage remained the same or slightly better. They were easy to install using car ramps but certainly would have taken less time if I had a lift.
The price I paid for the mufflers with a 10 year warranty were less than some places charged for the ones with a 3 year warranty.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Flowmaster 17410 exhaust two months ago for my 2006 Ford Mustang GT. It is everything I read about and exactly what I expected. It definitely has that unique Flowmaster roar when you first accelerate and once you reach third gear or higher, you will barely notice it from the cockpit but is definitely noticable by those outside near you. This is the third Flowmaster that I've installed on my cars and they all add a unique sound and a noticable increase in horsepower. Finally, if you need to talk to someone at Flowmaster, they are very accessible and knowledgable. You can actually reach an English speaking person at Flowmaster HQ to answer your questions. I highly recommend Flowmaster to anyone who wants a little extra out of their vehicle without having to expend a lot of cash.

(More customer reviews)These took two hours to install on a mustang because the hanger bracket nuts were hard to get to. These mufflers have a deep tone, especially at low rpms when cruising. You can hear these mufflers from far away but the sound is nice and smooth. I looked at the hushpower mufflers and I'm glad I got these instead. A friend of mine said these mufflers sounded better than his porsche turbo exhaust system. I also have a BBK cold air intake which probably makes them louder.
