(More customer reviews)My 97 camry (V6) had usual flex pipe leak and muffler shop asked me about $600 just to replace flex pipe. I found this in amazon at special deal (1oo cheaper than regular special price) so I took the deal. I paid about 145 to garage for installation plus gaskets.
Two trips after installation, I got famous p0420 CEL code. Finally, I found the cheap fix for that.
Advice: Be prepare and know how to deal with that P0420 code if you are Toyota owner.

I paid a muffler shop sixty bucks to install it for me. This part fit my 2000 Ford Expedition XLT 5.4L v8 perfectly, was a perfect match from the original part, and it works great. I just got my truck inspected with no problems. I saved twelve hundred bucks from what the dealer wanted for installation!

Magnaflow 93324 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter (Non CARB compliant) Review

(More customer reviews)I got this 93324 Convertor from another dealer. It was nice and easy to install because it came in two sections. The tubing I think is thinner than stock but that makes no differance if it works.... BTW: I drive a 96 F-150 4x4 V8. Anyways, I've had this on for about 7 months now and all is still good. I just realize that the emission tube popped off the exhaust port and just needs to be re-attached so I am editting my previous review.... It has a 6 month warranty. Not a lot of time if you drive more than one vehicle.

(More customer reviews)i have a 1989 F250 4x4 5.8 IFS. the headers were both a little wide for the truck, like the head flange was welded on wrong. hooker has great support, and a 90 day return policy (unlike Amazon). the first pair needed to have the passenger frame ground 1/4" or so. the drivers side got smashed by the driveshaft yoke. i returned these and got another set, and they fit worse. i heated them up (installed) with the engine and a torch, and used a come-along to get the clearance i needed.

Magnaflow 36635 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter - CARB Compliant Review

(More customer reviews)Don't bother paying the premium for the so-called "direct fit", just get a weld-in one and re-flange it yourself.
Magnaflow have messed up badly on my Honda application and don't have the correct size front flange. The first time I thought it was simply a mistake, called the manufacturer, and got a replacement. But no, the second one also had the wrong size too. I ended up having to cut the flange off my old cat, then cut it off this new one, and weld my old one on it instead. Waste of time and money. And to add insult to injury, when I called Magnaflow again, not to gripe, but to let them know that they'd got a genuine dimension problem with their product, they couldn't have cared less.
One more thing: they don't include gaskets either. That's a pain because their rear flange doesn't accept the OEM gasket, so you have to go to the local auto parts store and fish through their random muffler gasket box.
All in all, a really bad experience and a really rotten deal.

Hushpower 12412400 HP-2 Shorty 409S - 2.25" Center In / 2.25" Center Out 12.00" Case Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these for my 2010 Dodge challenger and they are awesome. I had Flowmaster super 44s put on it and removed the factory resonators. The super 44s sounded great but the drone around 2000 RPMs (cruising hwy speed) was pretty bad. I had a difficult time finding some resonators to replace the factory ones with and decided to go with these. They're actually marketed as a muffler but I called flowmaster and they confirmed that the shorties were designed to be resonators. In fact, the box they came in says "resonator." They sound great! This is exactly the sound I wanted. They give a great deep tone and completely eliminate the hwy drone. You can still hear the aggressiveness of the super 44s (especially on acceleration) but these have taken the edge off considerably. If you are wanting a tuned sound that has a deep bassy low pitched hum, these are great. They don't make it too quiet either. I would say that if my car was an 8/10 before at its loudest, it is now more like a 6/10 at its very loudest. The best part is, it hums very pleasantly while cruising on the hwy with no annoying drone (about a 3/10) and it actually sounds better with the resonators. Overall, great resonators to eliminate drone and improve quality and quantity of sound. It will be a little quieter but it will sound better.

It's just barely noticeable with the radio off. Well worth the money to have my Acura not sound like a high school kids riced out Civic.

Magnaflow 14851 Race Series Polished Stainless Steel Oval Muffler with Tip Review

(More customer reviews)This is a race-series muffler, so it's loud. Deafening? No. But it will absolutely draw attention to your vehicle. You probably want that if you're replacing the factory muffler(s), though. Pair this with a large resonator to keep the droning down on the highway.
The sound is typical Magnaflow -- aggressive but tuned. It's not rumbly and raspy like a Flowmaster or Borla. This is going to vary from car-to-car, but if you like other Magnaflows, you will not be disappointed.
Finish and fitment is excellent, as expected. The polished finish is beautiful, and the tip is nice and big. MAGNAFLOW is etched into the top of the tip, but I found that after repeated polishing and cleaning it started to wear off. No mater. You can also consider painting the muffler flat-black for the stealth/factory look.

Magnaflow 23892 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter (Non CARB compliant) Review

(More customer reviews)This pipe does NOT fit Camry V6 95-96. The inner diameter of catalyst outlet is smaller than the original one: Magnaflow's diameter is 5.8cm, original - 6.5cm. There is no way to fit it to original center pipe, so stay away from it.
If you look for REAL direct fit to replace stock front pipe on Camry V6 95-96 I'd recommend to get Walker 50448 or Eastern Catalytic 40264.

Magnaflow 23882 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter (Non CARB compliant) Review

(More customer reviews)Made multiply changes to exhaust system so unknown results of just this item. My stock 3.4l Toyota Tacoma truck has more power, that I always suspected of had a restrictive exhaust system which is true. Whether this restriction was from the catalytic converter or the muffler system; I do not know, but after putting on this stainless steel catalytic converter that does bolt in/on place without modifications to a Gibson stainless steel exhaust kit that does not simply bolt in place, my truck now has a noisier growl and runs free. Wish I made this change when I first bought the truck, as it is far better even with the added noise factor, which grows on you but I would like to have it quite if I did not have to give up a better running truck. I believe the noise is do to the smaller muffler and has nothing to do with the catalytic converter, only wish I new if changing the catalytic converter would have improved the flow without adding the noise that I believe is caused by the after market exhaust system which cost a lot to install as it was not a bolt in/on no matter how they describe it. All I know is that you are going be going to good muffler shop which should be able to do the same job with the parts they have on hand. It would have been worth buying the exhaust kit it if was simple installation complete with the flange plate that bolts up to the catalytic converter and factory style muffler hangers welded in place but then you still going to shop to have it welded for a seal tight durable connection which means your are going to be paying more money to have it installed, killing any savings of buying a exhaust kit, especially one that does not come with the flange plate and needs to be welded together to be a sealed system plus the clamp on supplied single hanging bracket(s) suck compared to the welded on dual factory original setup. Thanks to my installer he fabricated a setup similar to the factory muffler hanger which I am very pleased with. Secondary thoughts are that the stainless steel system is over kill and the aluminumized steel is the way to go according to the muffler shop I went to. complete with the flange plate that bolts up to the catalyic converter and factory style muffler hangers welded in place but then you still going to shop to have it welded for a seal tight durable connection which means your are going to be paying more money to have it installed, killing any savings of buying a exhaust kit, especially one that does not come with the flange plate and needs to be welded together to be a sealed system plus the clamp on supplied single hanging bracket(s) suck compared to the welded on dual factory orginal setup. Magnaflow 14828 Race Series Polished Stainless Steel Oval Muffler with Tip Review

(More customer reviews)Products wasn't actually what it described. The magnaflow website had different dimension and that it was a race series not street. I asked amazon and they assured me that it was a race series and it was just a mix up and that they would fix it. Got the product it was what magnaflow had on their website and I now see that they changed it on here. RIGHT ON!!! I must say that their customer service was great too. Anyway onto the product.. I installed two of these mufflers on a 06 Malibu ss. I love the sound of it. Mine is loud since I have no exhaust resonator, but if you pair these mufflers up with a decent resonator or glasspack by magnaflow it wound be as loud and will sound amazing. The welds are great and seem very sturdy. The mirror finish is great too it looks so nice on the back of my car. I recommend this to anyone that wants that race car tone without that import sound. Just keep in mind that all cars are different and will sound different from each other. Mine is decently loud, aggressive, and toned. Exactly what I wanted.... These mufflers seem spendy, but well worth it. The sound is much better than flowmaster, also a lot better quality parts. Flowmaster seemed to rust out fast and just be obnoxiously loud without a performance gain. With these magnaflow mufflers I gained some torque (keep in mind I have other mods into it as well just the mufflers alone might not do that much, but something).
