(More customer reviews)The fridge exhaust fans worked as advertised and even better than I expected. It should be noted that they came with two thermo-switches that make the cost more palatable. Installation was fairly easy once I got the roof vent cover off of the motor home. I placed the fan right above the fins. The tube design of the fan really helps draw air through the cooling fins rather than from the side of the fan blades.
The fans were used on a 1993 Dometic refrigerator. On 100+ degree days the fridge was reaching 60 degrees by late afternoon before the fans were installed. I installed two of the fridge fans due to the severity of the heat this summer. After the fans were in, the maximum temp on the bottom shelf of the fridge is 47 and the top shelf stays under 38 degrees. This is a major improvement. Although they have their own thermal switches, I put two on/off toggle switches in line to insure that they don't draw down my batteries if I don't need them.
I wasn't too happy with the delivery. I paid for expedited shipping but the dealer didn't ship for 4 days. Its within the Amazon guidelines but the expedited shipping was a total waste of money. The shipping cost was very close to the cost of the fan.That is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5.
