(More customer reviews)I am on my third PowerStroke diesel and each has been fitted with an exhaust brake. PowerStroke #1 = BD Brake, PowerStroke #2 = US Gear exhaust brake and PowerStroke #3 = Banks exhaust brake. I can say without a doubt the BD exhaust brake provides the best retarding force of the three, by far! This BD exhaust brake was purchased to replace the Banks exhaust brake that diesel #3 had installed when I bought the truck. I tow a 16,000# trailer coast to coast and have run most of the "10 Toughest Tows" in the lower 48.
