(More customer reviews)I selected the Bosch O2 sensor for my Ranger because of the Bosch name and because it was the only other brand which had a tip which looked just like the Motorcraft. Once I removed the old one (using the OEM socket set) I was able to confirm that the sensor tip was identical to the one from Ford. Although the original one was 9 years old and had 139,000 miles it had not set a code but apparently it had become lazy or contaminated as I had some driveability issues and the exhaust tip was sooty. My Ranger now gets better gas mileage by 1-2 mpg and the engine response/smoothness has greatly improved. With gas being $4 per gallon I kick myself for not changing it sooner!
