(More customer reviews)This is a quality intake that definitely improves the sound of the engine. I can't say that I notice a difference in power, but I'm sure it adds a few extra ponies. Amazon says this doesn't fit the 2009 Chrysler 300C SRT8 6.1L engine, but AFE assured me it would fit, and it fit just fine. The included instructions are for the 5.7L, but the steps are basically the same.
Overall the installation was simple, though there were a few things that could have been better. The hose had to be cut to fit properly, and the bolts that attach the tube to the shield were extremely short (the bolt under the filter was very hard to get on).
I've read that this was redesigned to prevent the tube from rubbing against the hood; either that is still an issue or I received the old tube.
The dry filter is very nice, and looks like it will be super easy to clean.
