(More customer reviews)I used the high heat paint on the header wrap as recommend. One thing I would highly suggest that when you start your car that you let it idle for a while before driving it unless your driving along a highway for a long distance. I made that mistake and smoke poured out from the engine compartment while I was sitting at a light. I am pretty sure it was the paint that was causing the smoke and the smell wasn't great either. I had to apply a second layer of wrap over the first layer, long story, but the original layer was in okay condition and I'm not sure if the paint helped as it had only been a few months since I put the first layer on.
