Magnaflow 12226 Satin Stainless Steel 2.5" Oval Muffler Review

(More customer reviews)I used this muffler (12226)on an 06 Jeep Liberty. I added an 18" section of exhaust pipe from the local auto parts store and it replaced the enormous (and restrictive) factory muffler perfectly with virtually no trimming. 5 minutes later with a MIG welder, (You could use exhaust clamps if you wanted, but I have a welder so why not use it?) the job was done.
Total time for the project was about 20 minutes, and now my little truck gets about 1mpg better. As for the sound, it seems exactly like the stock as far as tone and noise reduction, but I have the Turbo Diesel version of the Liberty, so that may be a factor. (Exhaust is identical for gas and CRD applications)
Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. It works well, fit perfectly, and is nice and quiet.

Dorman OE Solutions 674-551 Exhaust Manifold Review

(More customer reviews)I took a chance and ordered this manifold for my 2001 Elantra, even though amazon said it wouldn't fit 2001. Dorman catalog says 99-2001 Tiberon and Elantra on one page, then on another page it says 99-00 Elantra and 99-01 Tiberon. I bought it believing I was going to weld a bung for the O2 sensor in the cat. I got it in the mail today, it had a removable plug for the O2 in the exact same spot as my 2001!!! It bolted up EXACTLY PERFECT. This is the best deal for 2001 to 2006 Elantra owners with a bad cat or cracked manifold.
