Gibson 69504 Stainless Steel Split Rear Dual Cat-Back Exhaust System Review

(More customer reviews)This system replaced the Gibson non stainless steel split rear which has been on my truck for about 10 years and rusted out (yes even in Florida). The fit was almost perfect. I had to cut 2 pipes to make it fit properly and I did fit it with the spare tire on and trailer hitch in place. Other than that, the system is well made. I do wish that they would use stronger clamps as I broke 2 of them. Uses all the factory hangers. Hardware bag includes 2 hangers for tailpipes. It has a nice quiet throaty sound.

The fit and finish is top notch, Gibson lives up to its reputation as a quality product. The sound is great, a perfect balance between aggressive under acceleration and quiet while cruising on the interstate. There is no drone are raspiness to speak off throughout the rpm range.

Gibson 5518 Super Truck Dual Exhaust System Review

Installed OK after bending all pipe ends back to round.
Box was dropped so much all the pipes broke out of the box. Bubble wrap on the ends doesn't cut it with sharp steel.
Gibson puts stickers at the end of the pipes. So you have to sand those off to get them to mate.
Dad thought it was made in China, that's how impressed he was.
