(More customer reviews)When the headers arrived, the box was torn appart. Two nuts and a bolt were missing. The remaining bolt was the wrong size. When I first tried to instal the headers one tube made contact with a motor mount and I had to take it to a welding shop to have it reshaped. Furthermore, I had ordered one peice yet received two.

(More customer reviews)I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3 4x4. It is not a "true" dual exaust since there is only one cat and one muffler. but, I think it sounds great and for the price can't be beat. I heard a buddy's truck a few months ago and as soon as I heard it I knew I had to have the same muffler/exhaust setup. He recommended this muffler. Once it was installed, I have not regretted it at all. It has a great, deep sound when accelerating and when starting but is pretty quiet when at an idle. I was worried that it would be too loud, but that is not a worry...in fact, it could be a bit louder and that would be OK with me, but as stated, I was erroring on the side of caution to not have it too loud. Overall I love this muffler and would recommend it to a friend.

(More customer reviews)At first i was alittle worried that i made a bad decision in buying something that wasnt name brand such as megan or skunk 2, BUT THESE HEADERS DID THE TRICK! i love the sound when i paired it with my obx type r slanted exhaust and i got a very noticeable power gain when it came to mid range and top end. All in all my car goes fast and sounds badass so if your considering these headers i say go for it!

(More customer reviews)what a nice product - I wrapped my CAI tube, support bracket and sensor wiring with this. I had enough left over to cut up and wrap ECU wiring and a piggyback box. Nice look - like the inside of the space shuttles. I would advise that you also order at least a small roll of heatshield tape though - there's not enough tape supplied in the box but i was smart enough to get SS ties so it all worked out. Dealing with a 2.0L engine means lots of heat under the bonnet so now that I'm addressing how to lower bay temps I can say that this wrap works amazing. My first test drive me a 5hp improvement by keeping the air uninfluenced by engine heat. I now have more heat shielding material on the way to cover the throttle body now that I've completed a coolant line bypass.
The fibers are not good for you and when the material is cut it's tiny metallic like fibers get airborne and seem to just hang around.
If you have a CAI get this product, ss lock ties, extra heat shield tape and keep a small garbage bag close enough to discard gloves and mask. DO NOT MESS around cutting this stuff to size without at least a dustmask. You can copy and paste this link for a picture.

Does not sound good at all. well maybe on idle it does other than that your just another v6'er who tried to sound like a v8. the only reason I gave 2 stars was for amazon on the shipping, thats about it. V6 Silverado owners, listen to V8 owners, dont put a exhaust on a V6 truck you wont be happy.
Costs: $90 for muffler
Install: $70
Cost of taking flowmaster off and installing OEM Muffler: 120
What a mistake.

Put it on my 2001 Ford F150 5.4 liter and used two 4 inch tips i also purchased on here. SOUNDS AWESOME. thought about deleting my rear cats, but once i heard it I realized theres no need, its perfectly loud enough!

(More customer reviews)I tried this out on my 2001 Yukon Denali. Normally this is a very quiet SUV.
I noticed a slight increase in power. Gas MPG is exactly the same.
This muffler has a nice deep sound. It's not too loud that people would turn their heads and notice - it just sounds like a large burly engine.
However, I will be going back to the OEM muffler because I didn't like this for long trips when I drive more than 4 hours. I miss the silence of the stock muffler when I'm cruising along the highway. Some of the Flowmaster sound gets into the cabin so I have to turn up the radio a notch.
This muffler is good if you want a bit more throaty and deep sound, but it's subtle enough that it wouldn't catch anyone's attention.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this tail pipe and put it on my 1997 jeep grand cherokee laredo. Walker claims that this will fit that model, year, and car. It does... after having to cut it in half, and bang the hell out of the bracket that holds the rear end of the tailpipe up. Even after all that im still going to have to get another tailpipe to replace it. (I can tell you one thing, it wont be from Walker.) I also purchased a muffler (quiet flow) the muffler works and fits great, its this tailpipe that sucks.
