(More customer reviews)Actually, the size of this tip is 2.0 inch inlet, 2.5 inch outlet diameter. It is NOT measured in metric as a previous reviewer states. It is actually Amazon's fault for not including this information but, if you go to Vibrant's website and look up this part number it clearly states:
Inlet Diameter: Fits up to 2" Tailpipe
Outlet Diameter: 2.5"
Overall Length: 5"
Tip Style: Single Wall, Angle Cut, Rolled Edge

(More customer reviews)Great exhaust tip. Fits a 2" stock pipe perfectly. I've been driving with it for a couple months now and haven't had any problems or loosening of the screws. This particular pipe is more of a smoked or black chrome as opposed to the normal silvery tint (as you can kind of tell in the picture). It's a great look. I'm very happy with it.

I selected this exhaust tip solely on the picture because I liked the design. I received it yesterday and it wasn't exactly like the picture but it still looks good. I just don't like to settle for something that is not exactly what I expected. It is indeed a dual square tip with rolled edges.
I haven't had the time to install it on my 98 Expedition but I will on my next day off. I'm sure it will look nice.

(More customer reviews)These are not 2-1/4" exhaust pipes. It is a 2" exhaust pipe because it can fit a 2" pipe. If it were a 2-1/4" pipe, it would fit a 2-1/4" pipe. The actual size of the pipe is 2-1/4" but that is not the correct way to title the pipe. With exhaust tips you always say it is the size of the pipe it can fit (2").

I called Gibson Racing directly to order the correct part and they informed me they do not carry any exhaust tips for a MB C280. So don't get your hopes up like I did and purchase this item..it will not fit.

3A Racing 62-2419 Stainless Exhaust Tip Slant Bolt-On Truck 3" Inlet X 11" Review

(More customer reviews)Product says it has a 3" inlet which means in the automotive world it should slip over a 3" tail pipe. Not so! Yes the inlet is dead on 3"s same size as tail pipe and thats just the start. The way the clamp system is made for this item it can only be used on a 2 1/2" tail pipe the way it comes. I'm a retired ASE Master Auto Light and Heavy Truck Tech, so I knew how and had the special tools to modify the tips and weld them to my 3" tail pipes.
The average person even if he/she has the knowledge don't have the special tools to use the things. This was the most misleading add for a product like this I've ever saw. You need to show clear photos of the inlet and clamping systems of these tips and tell the truth about what they fit. I will say this after two hours a tip so I could use the they are the best looking tips I've ever had, and they do stop the popping from a high performance engine with headers on it.

(More customer reviews)I ordered 2 for my 2010 Forester. They are 1/2 the price of the Subaru chrome accessory tips and (IMO anyhow) look much better. The only problem is, they are all chrome, *not* partially gloss black as pictured, and therefore, I expected. They look good either way. I may just hit them with some VHT flat-black paint once they start to show signs of surface rust anyhow. Plus, they must have been sitting in a warehouse for a few years because the labels were pretty stuck to the chrome, so I had to use alcohol and lot of elbow grease to clean them up. One came with a set of 4 extra clips, not sure why, but at least I have replacements when the originals rust. Overall, a pretty good deal and a low-cost mod for your car.
