Replaced an unknown Magnaflow offset-center with this Borla center-center (turns out I had 3" piping, not stock 2.5" and the muffler Amazon shipped me was 3"...lucky mistake for me). Both mufflers were about the same size yet the Borla was much lighter and the sound increased--this is what I was aiming for though. There's just a little drone, not an annoying level, and it has a really nice cold-start growl. I haven't opened it up so can't comment on high-revving sound, but everything below 3k rpm is mild...can't imagine it sounding bad at 4k or 5k.
