(More customer reviews)After Kolpin replaced this piece of junk two times (for a total of three times) I sent this item back to Amazon for a refund. All three mufflers produced a loud clanging sound when the internal baffle bangs against the side of the can. Kolpin claimed it was a manufacturing defect in an internal weld (which is not repairable) and they "rarely, if ever", saw this problem. However, after three tries I am ever more skeptical that it is a poorly designed product of which Kolpin has a lot of defective stock!
Additionally, the heat shield which is supposed to protect against burns, sits against the can and heat is efficiently transferred to the heat shield thereby negating its usefulness.
Save your money and look for other products such as the Benz Silent Rider Exhaust.
