(More customer reviews)It's hard to judge the long term durability of a cat because so many external factors can lead to premature failure. What I can say is that the workmanship appears to be good (solid feed, good welds, etc). I failed miserably with my old cat, and passed with flying colors with this one. So this model worked well for me.
Many of my friends have had very poor luck with all makes of aftermarket cats. It could be that they are of poorer quality than OEM. It may be that aftermarket cats typically are installed on older cars that have other problems. If your car is running rich you can burn up even the best catalytic converter. This is why many people who buy aftermarket cats wind up changing them every biannual smog check. I will find out in two years whether I can pass more than one inspection cycle with this cat.

(More customer reviews)Magnaflow 25202 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter (Non CARB compliant) (Automotive) I had 2 problems with this product,Number 1:Upper flange was not threaded for exhaust studs like original converter flange so bolts had to be purchased instead of reusing old exhaust studs which was reusable.Number 2:Bottom o2 sensor location was not in right place causing modifications needing to be made to o2 wiring harness which ended up being to short original bottom o2 sensor was located in middle of converter casing instead of on outlet side of converter pipe facing drivers side of engine. Number 3:I had to make an exhaust gasket to go in between bottom flange of exhaust manifold on engine and top flange of new magnaflow converter,due to massive exhaust leak between flanges,other than above three problems of modifications and extra time and cost,this was installed on a 2001 ford focus se 16 valve dohc zetec engine,automatic transmission,would be nice if manufacturer could research this and correct problems and everything would be simple oem replacement.

I didn't realize how different my exhaust sounded, until I lost one. Shipment was fast, and description on the site was right-on. The quality of the intake is great and the inside portion is nice and smooth to control air while the outside has a good texture. Only complaint I have is that it's pretty pricey for a piece of plastic. $50 would be more than fair for this.

When I reinstalled the Mass Air Flow Sensor, one of the provided screws stripped. I just used an extra one I had in the garage - so no big deal. Just make sure you really squish down the little gasket for a minute or 2 before you try to screw it down. But aside from that minor issue, I am very impressed with the quality and appearance.

(More customer reviews)purchased this system that was supposed to fit my 05 dakota. practically had to modify the whole system because it came no where close to fitting. couldn't use the metal housing at all. the parts appeared to be used like someone else had the same problem and shipped it back and i ended up with it. the seller knew good and well the system wouldn't fit an 05 dakota and sent it anyway hoping to get rid of it. instructions were for 2000-03 dakota and durango 2nd generation of these vehicles. my fault for starting modifications. Should have sent the junk back. am very dissapointed in amazon for this and probably won't buy anything from them ever again.

impressions of it is that it is amazing. The throttle response,
and the hp gain is enough where the owner will notice a diff-
erence in the performance. As far as mpg I've noticed a small
difference, but I also drive very conservatively because I have
a motorcycle where I quench the speed demon inside of me with.
automobiles are for comfort and bikes are for speed. Overall I
love this intake system. I gave it 4 stars due to the fact that
the installation wasn't as easy as I thought and because the guide
isn't as detailed as it should be.

(More customer reviews)The bike is a 1982 Suzuki GS650GL. Engine mods include a Dynojet Stage 3 jet kit and full Dynatek ignition. The collector and head pipes are factory Suzuki. I cut off the old megaphone mufflers because they were rusted out. Threw these on and I am very happy. For $30 a piece, I have what I think is a very good sounding exhaust. At idle it has a nice "wup wup wup wup" sound, but given any gas it has a very throaty "muscle" sound. Good mufflers for the money!

(More customer reviews)I got this Intake for my 4.0 Jeep Cherokee. Everyone is saying why didn't you go for the K&N there better. NO K&N are good but only for specific cars. This Intake is loud when you give it gas or just starting up the Jeep. There was a noticeable gain of power around 10HP an TRQ you can feel it. I have done research on all intakes for Jeeps besides K&N also AEM, Airaid, Spectra , Volant and Rugged Ridge. Out of all of them AFE had the nicest design with the heat shield and anyone that likes AFE and K&N will tell you these two companies have the best filters out to date.
