(More customer reviews)I bought this exhaust a couple of months ago and installed on my grand cherokee. Install time took 1.5 hours (mostly spent removing the old exhaust.
This exhuast has a really nice rumble to it (louder than stock - but still not crazy loud). At highway speeds you can barely hear the exhaust hum.
Fuel mileage:
I was getting 500kms to a tank of fuel prior to install.
After the install - my next fillup was at 580kms...which impressed me how much more I was getting on a tank of fuel. The exhaust will pay for itself in less than a year of drive.

Pace Setter 88-1465 MONZA Performance Exhaust System Review

(More customer reviews)My Integra is 12 years old. The entire original exhaust went (catalytic converter and all) at the same time. I did some research and I've always appreciated the idea of reducing the back pressure with a free flow (bigger bore) exhaust.
I can't express how delighted I am with the Monza Pacesetter exhaust system. I should mention that I acquired a new Pacesetter Catalytic Converter from another source beforehand. The match was not only perfect from the new CAT to the new exhaust, but the exhaust went on in minutes (installed by a professional) I should also mention that this exhaust system brought the benefit of eliminating back pressure with the increase in horsepower. The car definitely shows more zip and it's smooth throughout the RPM range. The sound is not loud or annoying... just a sweet purr... like a classic Italian or British sports car. So, I recommend not only this fine exhaust system, but I also recommend buying from AMAZON. The good deal and quick turn-around from AMAZON was 5 star as well.

(More customer reviews)I have a 2008 Silverado, 5.3L Active Fuel Management/Flex Fuel. I did some research to find the right cat back system and I made a good choice choosing this one. This exhaust system has strong reviews on several auto parts websites. The primary reason that sold me was this system is designed specifically for vehicles with Active Fuel Management. Some reviewers said that other cat back systems would actually backfire or make a popping sound when the engine switched back and forth between 4 and 8 cylinders. So, Pros and Cons
PROS: Easy to install - I'm not a mechanic and I was able to install this with a friend in a little more than an hour - everything fits perfect - very easy!
Looks great - I would recommend spending the extra $$ and get the stainless steel
Sounds tough - gave my stock Silverado a very throatty sound - definetely louder than stock exhaust but it's not too loud
Better MPG - I have seen an improvement in gas mileage
Better performance - you will feel the difference when you step on the gas!
Cons: Amazon dropped the price by $85 2 days after I bought it!!! However, with free shipping and no sales tax, this is the place to buy it!!

Magnaflow 12226 Satin Stainless Steel 2.5" Oval Muffler Review

(More customer reviews)I used this muffler (12226)on an 06 Jeep Liberty. I added an 18" section of exhaust pipe from the local auto parts store and it replaced the enormous (and restrictive) factory muffler perfectly with virtually no trimming. 5 minutes later with a MIG welder, (You could use exhaust clamps if you wanted, but I have a welder so why not use it?) the job was done.
Total time for the project was about 20 minutes, and now my little truck gets about 1mpg better. As for the sound, it seems exactly like the stock as far as tone and noise reduction, but I have the Turbo Diesel version of the Liberty, so that may be a factor. (Exhaust is identical for gas and CRD applications)
Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. It works well, fit perfectly, and is nice and quiet.

Dynomax 33228 Stainless Steel Hardware Clamp Band Review

(More customer reviews)When the muffler of my custom exhaust fell off (rotted off), I decided to get a pre-packaged catback and install it myself. Turns out the flange bolts after the cat converter were spot welded (probably done during the custom job). So I had to cut the existing pipe. I then cut the flange off the new cat back and used this clamp to join the two pipe sections. Worked like a charm! Very easy to install. No leaks. Perfect!

With the CAT's off and no headers it sounded like a bayliner half sunk, now with no CAT's and the headers, it sounds like a throughty Class 7 truck. Could not be happier with the sound. I have also noticed the added power, not alot, but a definite diference. Totally worth the buy and easiest set of headers I have ever installed.

(More customer reviews)The installation was not the easiest. Once on the lift it was kind of a no brained, but it only has three out of the four hangers. So, it hangs a little low in the middle and seems to bump on the passenger back axle while going over hard bumps. This however is a minor inconvenience. I love he sound of it though. It has a nice low rumble and throaty sound when you step on it... and no fart can noise :)

Walker Exhaust 53310 Ultra Domestic Converter - Non-CARB Compliant Review

(More customer reviews)I replaced the factory cat on my 2002 Tracker 4 door with this. This directly replaces it without any of the often heard "variances" or incorrect "one size fits all" issues that seem to pop up a lot with aftermarket parts. I replaced everything from the 1st cat/downpipe back but am confident it would have bolted up to the factory tailpipe and muffler piece after the flange without any trouble. Came with a bung for an O2 sensor after the cat that my vehicle did not require however it includes a bolt to fill it for those vehicles that don't need it. I wrapped that in pipe tape and tightened it down good.
Only issue I did have was the factory pipe has tacked in nuts on the front end to mate to the spring bolts that connect it to the first cat/down pipe. I had to run to the hardware and find the correct size nuts that fit the bolts. Bit tight but it worked out.
You will also have to pick up a set of bolts to connect this to the muffler and tailpipe section as the factory has welded in studs and aftermarket seems to only have holes in the flanges. Simple to fix - $3 later at Ace hardware for some Grade 5 bolts.
The hangars and holes all lined up perfectly. Have had trouble with this in the past but not here.
Overall, not bad for a $130 or so cat.

(More customer reviews)I installed this on a 2005 crew cab duramax. Install was very easy and I am pleased with the system. Noticeable differance in power and sounds good also. When installing put a wedge between the pipe and the cross member when tighting the clamps. If not the pipe will be to close to the cross member and will touch. That was the only clearance issue and really not an issue at all if done right.
