I replaced the factory cat on my 2002 Tracker 4 door with this. This directly replaces it without any of the often heard "variances" or incorrect "one size fits all" issues that seem to pop up a lot with aftermarket parts. I replaced everything from the 1st cat/downpipe back but am confident it would have bolted up to the factory tailpipe and muffler piece after the flange without any trouble. Came with a bung for an O2 sensor after the cat that my vehicle did not require however it includes a bolt to fill it for those vehicles that don't need it. I wrapped that in pipe tape and tightened it down good.
Only issue I did have was the factory pipe has tacked in nuts on the front end to mate to the spring bolts that connect it to the first cat/down pipe. I had to run to the hardware and find the correct size nuts that fit the bolts. Bit tight but it worked out.
You will also have to pick up a set of bolts to connect this to the muffler and tailpipe section as the factory has welded in studs and aftermarket seems to only have holes in the flanges. Simple to fix - $3 later at Ace hardware for some Grade 5 bolts.
The hangars and holes all lined up perfectly. Have had trouble with this in the past but not here.
Overall, not bad for a $130 or so cat.
