The magnaflow 15670 also fits the 1998 Golf GTI VR6 (amazon typo error 93-97 should be 93-98).
Product quality is perfect. It would have been nice if the coupling clamp had been included so I could connect it to the catalytic converter. I had to buy that at ecstuning. I was amazed how well this fit my GOLF. It is a PERFECT fit. It was incredibly easy to install. Just hang on the rubber hangers and bolt together. It sounds great as well... deep, throaty rumble at low rpms and once I get to highway speeds... I can't hear it... so it's not annoying when taking long trips. I will never have to replace this exhaust again since it's all stainless. If you like keeping your car for a long time (like me) and you live in a place where they salt the roads in winter... I highly recommend you get a stainless exhaust when your old exhaust needs replacing.
