(More customer reviews)I did a lot of research on what was available at the time of purchase for the price. The top two were the AFE and the Volant. The Volant was much more expensive, so I chose the AFE. Installation was very easy. AFE did not include a stud on the intake to accommodate the engine flap/cover like some other products, so the cover was left dangling on this side. No real problem, just cosmetic. I was kind of disappointed that the box did not seal against the fender and allowed hot air from the engine compartment to enter. It did make the sound louder. Not sure if this was a fair trade-off. At first, I was kinda annoyed by the sound of vibrating metal when the engine was floored since the box is made of metal all over and it was obviously sucking on it hard. I quickly got used to it but was not sure if I truly liked it. I did return this item only because Toyota TRD came out with one and I want a stock look for my truck. I would probably recommend the Volant or TRD since they seal against the fender.
