(More customer reviews)When I took my car to Autozone and they indicated my 02 sensor had gone bad (2004 Honda Civic LX) I panicked in a major way. After talking to a co-worker, he advised this was a repair we could do ourselves. After getting the part from Amazon, I rented a special wrench from Autozone (which is free, you just leave a deposit which is 100% refunded when you return it), and then I drove the car for 20 minutes (so the engine would expand a little from the heat. At that point we popped the hood, unhooked and unscrewed the old one, popped this in, and 5 miles later, the light was off and all was good.
If you can change a fuse, you can do this repair at home. The whole thing took about 2 minutes to do, and the only tool needed was the abovementioned wrench. 2 twists and done, saved me a $500 bill from the dealer.
