I purchase this muffler with some hesitation. First, the illustration looks nothing like the original muffler in my '92 Saturn. Second, I worried that the Sound FX label meant an annoyingly loud resonance that would please a teenager, but not a middle aged person like myself. Both fears were unfounded. This muffler is quiet, and does not resemble the illustration. It has no brackets built in; you purchase those separately. Early 90's Saturns require the 36372 Walker exhaust hanger. You'll also need a Walker 35343 clamp with any make vehicle. The muffler was a perfect fit. After cutting my Saturn's stainless steel pipe as close to the old muffler as possible, I dabbed on some anti-seize compound so future replacements won't be a problem. Altho my Saturn is 17 years old, it shows no signs of quitting. This muffler cost much less than the $200 original equipment Saturn muffler, but Saturn's is stainless steel and a lot heavier. So I don't know how long this replacement will last, altho it is aluminized steel and a name-brand. Installation was only 15 minutes with a power reciprocating saw. Also, remember not to tighten the pipe clamp so tight that it disfigures your old pipe, or your next replacement may be a nightmare. If your vehicle has a stainless steel exhaust pipe like Saturn's, it will last as long as your vehicle. Don't let Midas or other chains replace these ss pipes with their cheap unfinished steel pipes, or you'll be replacing the pipes every year. I've made that mistake in the past.
