(More customer reviews)This is definitely a great muffler if you want a quiet one. I have gone through 3 mufflers on my 1995 S10 and none have been as quiet as the factory one. None have lasted either and have had weak warranties. I wanted to go with a Borla as they have a great warrnaty (1 million mile) but the sound is too loud and aggresive. Works grat on my 04 Silverado but not for this truck. The Walker has a limited lifetime, now that's great. And the fitment was perfect. Even had the metal hangers welded on in the right places.
After I installed this muffler with a new tailpipe and intermediate pipe I cranked the truck and actually heard the engine running instead of the exhaust note. Finally, I am happy. Not to mention my wife as she is the one that had to sit right over the old loud muffler.
I would recommend preformed band clamps like the ones Jeg's sells. They make for a fantastic seal and look good, too.
