On Amazon, I went through the 'Direct Fit Catalytic Converter' search on Amazon, it then said 'Make Sure it Fits' and asks for the car 'Year', 'Make', and 'Model', and the part I'm writing about popped up. I ordered it. It arrived and I discovered that it WAS NOT A DIRECT FIT, AND WAS SIMPLY A WELD-IN UNIVERSAL CAT FOR BASICALLY ANY CAR. I contacted the company and they basically said 'TOO BAD!' After pressing the issue through Amazon and American Express, they took the part back - BUT CHARGED A 20% RESTOCKING FEE!. So a $150 catalytic converter, that was not a direct fit, cost me $20 to send back plus a $30 restocking fee. So I spent $50 for absolutely nothing! Plus several weeks of anguish! I probably will not buy anything via Amazon that is not shipped by and returnable to Amazon. Amazon is a GREAT company, but folks like wUnderCarParts LLC, who sell through Amazon, are unscrupulous!
