There's no installation instructions, so you open the box and you get these baffles with a fiber like material wrapped around in 2 or 3 layers, held there by a piece of packing tape in the middle. As it is, it's a tight fit for just the baffle without the fiber packing, so you can just imagine how tough it was for me (a beginner) to put everything in. Basically, bits and pieces of the fiber material didn't make it into the install haha! Fortunately, most of it made it there. After all that, next headache were the heatshields. Another real hassle.
Let me share a tip to those installing on their own, the tape holding the fiber packing to the baffle melts off, so to make things much easier to install, I suggest you tape both ends as well, so now, you'll have the original middle taping plus additional taping to keep things in place. I should've thought of this prior to installation, but hey 20/20 hindsight or whatever. Hope this helps.
Anyway, once installed however, everything's just how I want it to be. While idling, it purrs a low rumble. Pretty quiet, in fact I'm even hearing some engine noises I haven't heard before (noises that were being drowned out by the louder pipes). Revving it gives you a nice "rounder" lower, or more bass sound, than before that's almost as loud as it was, just more mellow sounding or "less metallic" as described before. In my opinion, definitely better sounding.
Highly recommended!
