The last ride was 300 miles and while filling with gas, the mesh contacted the exhaust and melted a big hole in the PLASTIC mesh just over the knee. I tried ordering just a left side below the knee zip off leg but they wouldn't provide me with that option. As expensive as these pants are, in my opinion, it just isn't worth the risk of a MELT DOWN. They are cool to ride here in Florida, especially now since I don't have a leg below the left knee. They had to be thrown away after two rides.
