(More customer reviews)I installed the Roush exhaust on my 2011 Mustang last week. Installation was fairly straight forward and probably took no more than an hour. I did not remove the mid pipe as they suggested. It was a bit of a pain to get the old exhaust off, but with some elbow grease and alot of wiggling it wasn't terribly hard. Putting the Roush exhaust on was easy and only took a few mins. I probably spent more time looking up where the lift and jackstand points where than installing the Roush exhaust. I didn't have to align the tips, so that speaks well to the quality control they have at their shop.
As for the sound... My Mustang sounds really good. The exhaust note could be a little deeper, but for just a muffler swap they sound really good. They are quite loud. Let me repeat that, these are loud. Cruising at a constant speed, and they are quite, but hit the gas, and they roar! Since I have a convertible, it is even more pronounced. I haven't noticed any drone yet, but I don't have alot of miles on them, but I don't expect to find any spots where drone is pronounced. These are good for getting attention, as people will look at you as you drive by. There is nothing stealthy about these mufflers. You should only get these if you bask in the attention (the good and annoyed type). Since I don't care if people think my exhaust is too loud, I love these, but I also ride a Harley, with pretty much straight pipes, so I'm not stranger to loud exhaust.
