...but not excessive. It seems to sound louder from the inside than it actually is from the outside. From the outside it has a nice deep tone on acceleration and slightly audible at idle. I have a fiberglass cap on my 2005 Ram 1500 and wonder if I'm getting a slight interior echo or amplification from the cap? The cat back kit is complete and removal/install was completed in less than 45 minutes working from the garage floor. Spray all rubber hangers and front muffler (resonator) joint with some penetrating oil, let it have some time to penetrate. Support the tailpipe, disconnect the system from the rubber hangers, loosen the front clamp and work the stock exhaust free. Work from the front to back installing the magnaflow system and leave everything just loose enough to be able to make final adjustments. I spent more time tweaking position for a nice even final exhaust tip placement than I spent on install. The only problem I had was the left side brake line and a shielded wire wanted to contact the new left side pipe no matter which side of the pipe I routed the lines. This was easily remedied with the use of a couple zip ties to alter the lines route.
