(More customer reviews)It's a muffler. It muffles. Five Stars. Installed on 97 Ford Escort with no problems. The hanging system is different than stock, but still works fine. You might want to use hose clamps or the equivalent to make sure it's as tight of fit as you want.
500 stars to Amazon.com for letting me a get a cheap, working car part. I saved 800 bucks by ordering an exhaust system from Amazon.com.
