Purchased this back pressure guage to check my catalytic converter. Had read other reviews about melting the cheap rubber hose. Did not think about the rubber O-rings on the screw in dude. I screwed in the tool in the hole for the O2 sensor. I started the car and measured the back pressure. I left the car run for a few minutes and shut it off. I took the tool out after a few minutes to find that the rubber O-rings had melted. They clogged the opening to the hole making it very difficult to get the O2 sensor in. All in all with what has been written by others and what I experienced, I don't think the tool is worth the money.
I don't think the threaded end will now work because I don't think it will seal sufficiently. So I guess this was a one time affair for $50.
