(More customer reviews)I bought an '04 DRZ400-E used. It already had an HMF pipe on it and the seller didn't have the stock pipe anymore. I seriously thought about switching over to an FMF or something due to the noise (it was really bad when you cracked the throttle hard).
I decided to give the Quiet Core as shot since it presented a cheap option to a new silencer. It's very easy to install in about 2 minutes. I added the spark arrestor too. I haven't measured the noise level, but I can tell a difference. Still kinda loud, but now it is tolerable. I didn't notice any significant loss of power either.
