After I had one put on about 2 years ago I thought I would do it myself.
It needed an adapter and the muffler shop put it on for $30 bucks.
Call around cause some wanted much more,so saving taxes and getting it at the house all I had to do is when I had some free time call around and passed inspection went from just over to almost zero in the fumes so now it's can it pass next year and how many years will it last?
Fair on the price,saved sales tax(8.25%)it came with in a few days,and I wasn't in a hurry.Total saving about $20 bucks.
If you needed it yesterday then you might want to just go to a muffler shop to get it done.
I did it this way because the last one only lasted less than 2 years and the muffler man lied about it being clooged, fact was there was nothing left in it.
So far it's been 3 plus months,we'll see.
